I Dare You To Achieve

I Dare You To Achieve
The potential that can be produced by a human individual is by far unimaginable and yet the question that still stands is why are we not excelling….. “Education is but a stepping stone, a path towards achieving our true potential.”

It is interesting to know the amount of potential and raw talent that Africa is producing with their own children. Each generation having an even greater thirst for knowledge and success. However, why still does Africa not flourish from its fruits?  The current generation is being raised in a digital age were all the knowledge they need is right in their pockets but they spend their time either chatting of Facebook or downloading music. Whilst they are doing that half way across to the east, their Asian counterparts are learning a new skill each holiday and to the west they are constantly being exposed to the world. So if we as Africa so busy watching them and not ourselves, how then do we excel? Our fore fathers fought so that generations to come would have a voice that can be heard in the world. We sadly do not carry the same motivation they had but instead desire more materialistic ambitions.

The few that have had the strength and motivation to succeed have managed to carve themselves into our history and set a whole new platform not only for themselves. Different opportunities have been given to us but if one does not make their own choice and see those opportunities someone will take them from you and use it… “Doors maybe opened for you but eventually they will close, that is their function and it is up to you to walk through them!”

I mention this to guide my generation towards their purpose and open their minds and let them measure themselves so that they may know where they are and for them to be sure that they know where they are going.  Understand that success is measured differently by us all but the intended result is the same for us all. The world is at a stage where it’s, whoever wants it most, will have it and if the world was like a pyramid, you would see that the bottom is very crowded but only a select few make it to the top and trust me the view is a lot better from the top.  So where are you? That is why I urge you to build yourself to become better each day and I Dare you to Achieve.
